Royal State Procession

Here is a view, taken on 13 May 2003, of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra leaving Edinburgh Castle.

The King and Queen rode through the decorated streets of Edinburgh to mark Edward's coronation in London the previous year.

This postcard, by W R & S was posted from Edinburgh to Buckinghamshire on June 3, 1903, three weeks after the photograph was taken.
