The View

This view looks up the Firth of Forth from Longniddry Bents, car park No 2.

Longniddry Bents is the beach beside the Firth of Forth, to the north of the town of Longniddry.  There are another two car parks here, one about half a mile further upstream (west) and the other about half a mile further downstream.

This view looks to the west up the Firth of Forth towards:

-  Cockenzie Power Station, about three miles up the shore on the south bank of the Firth of Forth in East Lothian.

-   Edinburgh, about ten miles beyond Cockenzie.  The silhouette of Arthur's Seat in Holyrood Park, Edinburgh can be seen (upper-right) on this photo.
