Princes Street Gardens This photograph of the wording along the top of the floral clock was taken on August 16, 2010, soon after the planting of the clock was completed. The clock is in the lower-left corner of this photo, and the 'house' for the cuckoo is centre-left in the photo. Princes Street can be seen in the background. One of the new batch of buses running to Edinburgh Airport is in the background. the bus is passing behind a demonstration tram, parked near the foot of the mound. It is expected to be at least another two years before the tram service in Edinburgh will commence. |
