1928

Here is a photo from Ian Scott.  It shows the second Merryweather 'Fire King'.  The photo was taken in Lauriston Place, as the fire engine passed the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh on Infirmary Collection Day, around 1928, just before the engine was scrapped:
