near the northern end of Great Junction Street, Leith.
Forbes wrote:
"This photo was
probably taken in the summer
of 1960 when I was approaching my third birthday. My
grandparents are Marion Gallington and James Coulter. They
lived at 28 Thorntree Street, Leith.
The picture is
taken in the gardens formed by Great Junction Street and
Taylor Gardens. The old Leith Provident store is in the
background. Leith Hospital would be on the left."
