Garden beside Great Junction Street, Leith

Thank you to Forbes Wilson for allowing me to reproduce this photograph, taken in the small gardens near the northern end of Great Junction Street, Leith.

"This photo was probably taken in the summer of 1960 when I was approaching my third birthday.  My grandparents are Marion Gallington and James Coulter. They lived at 28 Thorntree Street, Leith.

The picture is taken in the gardens formed by Great Junction Street and Taylor Gardens.  The old Leith Provident store is in the background.  Leith Hospital would be on the left."
