Here is a busy scene in Great Junction Street, Leith, taken some time after the trams had been replaced by buses.  Looking at the traffic, I believe this photo may have been taken some time around the 1970s.

The bus turning in the distance is at the Foot of Leith Walk.  It is turning from Leith Walk into Great Junction Street.
