"Regarding William snr., he is a younger brother of Patrick Barry who was known for his writing and published ten books between 1868 and 1906.

I am putting together family details beginning with their 3 x great grandfather born in 1711.  I have included siblings of their 2 x great grandfather and would like to obtain copy photos of any of William's paintings.

Were you aware that after he moved to Inverness he climbed Ben Nevis 3 times after age of 56?

WJC Barry

Son, WJC Barry had 3 sons, William, George, and James Hume Adams.

-  In 1916, on his marriage, at the age of 27, George Barry was a photographer and 2nd Lieutenant of the 3/6 battalion, residing in Glasgow.

-  In 1928, James HA Barry was also a photographer.  He was living at Hillside, Banchory

Barbara asks:

.  Does anybody know anything more about WJC Barry or any of his three sons?
