This view looks to the NW (in the direction of the St Leonard's Bank entrance to Holyrood Park) towards the 'Slidey Stane'. I photographed the stone on a wet day in February 2008. It did look rather 'slidey' then. Here is a view of the other side of the 'Slidey Stane', looking towards the entrance to Holyrood Park beside the Royal Commonwealth Pool: |
