Derek's Place

near the entrance to Granton Harbour

Derek's Place is on the north side of West Harbour Road, near  the entrance to Middle Pier, Granton Harbour.

This photo was taken on December 22, 2009.  The previous photo that I took of Derek's place was about three and a half years earlier.  During this period, the price of tea and coffee has remained he same at 40p and 60p, but the cost of a full breakfast has increased by 40p to £3, and the sign along the top of Derek's Place has begun to disintegrate.

Here is a photograph of Derek's place taken in July 2006.
