Loanhead Station

The line to Glencorse

Loanhead lies about 5 miles to the south of the centre of Edinburgh.

Stations on this line were:

-  Waverley

-  Portobello

-  Niddrie

-  Millerhill

-  Gilmerton

-  Loanhead

-  Roslin

-  Glencorse

Loanhead was in the coal mining area to the south of Edinburgh, close to Ramsay Colliery.
