Viewforth Buildings "I was born at 13 Bellfield Lane, Portobello in September 1936, then the family moved to 22 Viewforth Buildings - THEN (in Oct 1941) to 17 Salisbury Street - THEN (in Jun 1944) to 8 Niddrie Mains Drive When I left school in 1951 worked in Newcraighall Pit (Klondyke) till 1954, then joined the RAF until 1964. My Mother "H ere is a photo of my mother and me. She is standing outside our flat 22 which was on the top landing of Viewforth Buildings. The photo would have been taken about 1937.
