Photographic Studio  -  John Center

From 1875 until 1870, John Center, the Edinburgh professional photographer and bagpipe maker had a studio at Haymarket - originally not numbered, but in 1870 described as 5 Haymarket.

I believe the building was probably a few yards to the right Haymarket Station.  Haymarket Station is just out of the view to the right of the photograph above.  The building that housed John Center's studio no longer exists.
