Murrayfield.
Edinburgh's largest casino, one of eight major new casinos in the UK may
be built behind the West Stand at Scottish Rugby Union's rugby ground at
Murrayfield, Edinburgh.
The SRU
are thought to have discussed their proposals with Edinburgh Councillors.
These proposals also include a hotel, conference centre and leisure
complex.
The
Councillors are believed to support these proposals, believing that they
would bring significant economic benefits to the city.
Other
possible sites for the casino, if the Murrayfield plans do not go ahead,
are Edinburgh Waterfront at Granton and Leith Docks.
