      Jack Kane Centre 
      Edinburgh is expected to host the 'Swamp Soccer World Cup' on land 
      at the Jack Kane Centre, Niddrie on June 25 + 26, 2011.  It is 
      proposed: 
      -  to excavate four five-a-side pitches, 
      then fill the churned remnants be knee-deep with water.  (The site 
      will be returned to its original state after the event.) 
      -  to have a camp site and live music on the 
      Saturday night. 
      -  to award a prize for the best fancy 
      dressed team, as well as for the winning team. 
      The 'Swamp Soccer World Cup' started in 
      Scotland in 2006.  The  event in 2011 is expected to attract up 
      to 2,500 people.
