William Kyles Actors' Troupe? "I've discovered that the photographer, William Kyles , was my Great Grand Uncle, through his sister Margaret who married William MacKay. Their daughter, Euphemia married my father's father William Donaldson. I've been intrigued by this photo of a group on the EdinPhoto site. I've come across this photo before, when it was described as showing an actors' troupe" Family Portrait? "However, and possibly, and rather fancifully, I wonder if this photo might be a family group of William Kyles' own (or possibly my) family. The sitters in the group appear to have taken up rather relaxed poses in the presence of the photographer - a little unusual in Victorian tim es."
