George H Slight when he looked back in 1866 on the founding of EPS
referred to there being four founding Members. Who did he refer to?
Presumably
one was J T Taylor, the first Secretary.
It was in a room behind his watchmaker’s shop that the
inaugural meeting of EPS had been held on 20 February 1861.

Taylor was Joint Secretary, then Secretary, of EPS, 1861-63, and
remained on the EPS Council for a further year. Was this the same
gentleman as:
