I have only seen this one postcard with the name 'Old Waverley Hotel' on the back.  The card was presumably published for the hotel - by whom?  This photograph comes from Malcolm Cant's collection

This Friendly Society had a membership of 300,000 and funds of £675,000 (less than £3 per member! when the postcard of Edinburgh Castle above was published.  The society described itself as 'The Society for Men, Women and Children'.
