Question

When might this photo have been taken?  The car suggests to me that perhaps it might have been around the 1930s or 1940s. ***

"I think the TV aerials on the house at the right would indicate the 1950s or early-1960s"

George Smith wrote:

"I agree that the picture is after 1953, judging by the TV aerial and the style of car."

George added:

"I recollect one of my colleagues, then living at South Queensferry, marrying the daughter of the publican of the Bridge Inn, some time in the mid-1950s.  Now, I am searching my memory for her name -  Dorothy ******* ?"
