Around 1970 Thank you to John Lynch, a member of Edinburgh Photographic Society since the early-1970s, for allowing me to reproduce his photo above of John H Lunn's premises in Hope Crescent (later re-named Hopetoun Crescent) off Annandale Street. John took this photo around 1970. His father (also John Lynch) worked as a mechanic for John H Lunn at these premises for many years. Here is an advert for J H Lunn, taken from the Edinburgh & Leith Post Office Directory, 1961-62:
