Roy Douglas

Thank you to Roy Douglas who wrote:

Teachers

"I attended Moredun School up until 1968.  The teachers that I remember from that time were:

-  Mr Fairbairn

-  Miss Fisher who married and became Mrs Kellagher

-  The headmaster, Mr Johnstone.  He was replaced by Mr Mutch about 1966-67."

Demolition

"Here are some photos of the school that I took not long before it was demolished."

The Clock Tower:  "The Tower had a bell that was rung a few minutes before starting time to hurry the pupils along."

The Boys' Playground:  "The boys' entrance was up the steps.  There was also a concrete shed attached to the wall where the graffiti is."
