Thank you to Allan Dodds for allowing me to reproduce this photo that he
took at the Carnival in Waverley Market, around 1957, using the
newly-launched Kodak Royal-X Pan film, 120 size, in his father's Ihagee
folding camera.
Nobody believed in this film's advertised speed and we all had to prove
it for ourselves. It could be pushed to 3,200 ASA, which I did for
various night shots in Princes Street.
