Coronation Mug "With this weekend being the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, I thought it would be appropriate to show you these photos of my Coronation mug from 1953." Coronation Crown "From what I remember, all the kids at Edinburgh Corporation schools were give a Coronation mug and also a Crown in a presentation case (value five shillings or 25p in new money) on the occasion of the Coronation." Toast to the Queen "I somehow have managed to keep my mug intact, but have long lost the crown. So it will be a few mugs of tea to toast the Queen!
