Water Tower |
Thank you to David Gordon, owner of 'Now & Then'
the antique and old toy shop at West Crosscauseway for telling me about
one of the toys that his partner, Jeanie Laub, has discovered from long ago.
It was sold by The Albert Bazaar, 10 Shandwick Place, Edinburgh.

"Jeanie
has just photographed a very early constructional wooden toy.
One of the images shows a label for 'The Albert Bazaar' 10 Shandwick
Place.
It's a quality toy. It gives a glimpse
into what some lucky children in Edinburgh in the 1890s might have
received."
