Trinity Station

This view looks towards Trinity station from the west.

Trinity Station is on high ground, above the Old Chain Pier Bar where the Old Chain Pier once stood.  Trains to Trinity Station used to take early morning bathers from the centre of Edinburgh to Trinity beside the Firth of Forth.

This photograph was taken as the lines were being lifted in 1986.
