Outing to Haddington

Thank you to Kim Traynor for allowing me to reproduce this photograph of the employees of JP Cochrane & Co, dressed in their Sunday best, on the occasion of their 2nd annual outing to Haddington, on June 23, 1906.

"This photo belonged to my Aunt. Her father worked for JP Cochrane & Co, golf club makers.

Here is another photograph of the JP Cochrane's staff.   In this photo, they are outside their premises at Murano Street, Pilrig, Edinburgh.

I think the photos are quite wonderful for what they reveal about dress at the time."
