"This pic is from my mother's old album, dated
in her writing on the back, 1938. It is a postcard-size photo yellow
with age. The photo is of my brother's class at Corstorphine
School.
I've removed some of the yellowing , using Photoshop.
- Peter Stubbs.
My brother's name is Jim. He is in the
2nd back row, 6th from the left. Jim and I both worked for the
plumber, Fell & Mathieson, St John's Road, Corstorphine before migrating
to Australia.
Jim is now aged 79. He followed me to
Australia in 1961 and now lives in Maitland, New South Wales. He is
well known for his wild life photography and has an exhibition gallery in
Maitland. He loves the bush."
