Glasgow Fishmarket Workers

Thank you to Catherine (Cunningham) Murray, East Kilbride,  for allowing me to reproduce this photograph, taken outside the fishmarket in Glasgow.

Catherine wrote:

"The man in the front with his arms folded is my father, John Cunningham.  He was born in 1888 and passed away in 1958.

After serving in the 1914-18 War, he was employed at the Glasgow Fish Market.

He often spoke about the fish market and about  Mr Devlin, on occasion going through to the Devlin house in Edinburgh to deliver something or other.
