Jaeger - Coach Outing Thank you to David Malcolm for allowing me to reproduce this photo. David wrote: "This photo shows staff from the Jaeger shop, at that time operating in Princes Street on a bus trip outing. The photo was taken in August 1956. These outings were a fairly common social event in the 1940s and 1950s. The group are mainly staff with the inclusion of spouses, friends, and family members. My sister, Betty, is 4th from left in the back row. She worked at Jaeger from the late 1940s until 1959." David Malcolm, New Zealand: August 22, 2008 |
