Betsy was Jim Patience's sister-in-law.  She lived below us at No.34 Jamaica Street.

Jim Patience is one of the contributors to the EdinPhoto web site.  He now lives in Alberta, Canada.  I knew Jim and his brother Alex.  We were in the T.A. together at Dalmeny Street, Leith, and Alex and I were neighbours in Jamaica Street.
