"Cliff Read (12th from the left on the back row of this photo) and I celebrated our Golden Wedding Anniversary and my 70th Birthday in July 2014.  We had a garden party at our house to celebrate.

A friend of ours, Gladys Corbett (nee Walls) (6th from the left on the front row of this photo) came along with some old photos, including the one above, from  her Mum who is now in her 90s and still goes on holiday with her pals!"

Question

What Class or Classes were these pupils in when this photo was taken? To me, they look as if they might have been in Primary 7 and about to leave Primary School.

Maybe Primary 6

"I'm really not sure which Class this would have been.

However, here is a 'photo taken at the 1955 Murrayburn School Qually Dance:

©

The Qually Dance took place each year in the year that we left Primary school - after sitting our Qualifying Exam.

Several of the pupils in the Class photo are also in the Qually Dance photo.  They do look a little younger in the Class photo so perhaps the Class photo is of Primary 6.
