-  The big fella on the right is Willy Tobey

-  I should know the young lad, middle-back, as I spent a night or two with him.  It could be Rab Young.  I'm not sure."

"It would appear that the Callaghans are taking over your site !!  I  opened the navy club pics and there, staring out from the Men's Outing  pic, is my Dad centre stage, with grey suit."

Outings

"My guess for the men's pic would be mid-1970s as remember Dad talking about some of the outings.  I think they were for the pensioners, and as you see most of men seem to be over 65.

I remember him telling about one outing which was a trip on Gardyloo, the City sewerage boat, out towards the May Island. They were all given a slap up meal on board."

"I'm not sure when this pic was taken, but think maybe late-1970s.  (They may have been taken during one of the four trips that we had back to the old country in the 1970s.)"
