"I found this old framed photograph recently.  It belonged  to a distant relative of my wife (second row up with white hair between the ladies in dark hats). His name was Charles Kerfoot Dalton and he attended the Conventions.

The print  (approx 14" x 10") carries the inscription Edinburgh June 9th 1926 which seems to be at odds with the information on the web site. I don't know which is correct.

Gwyndon is right!  The location of the 1926 Convention given on this photo above (Edinburgh) does not match the info given on the Locations and Dates page of my web site for the 2926 Convention (London)

It's now almost 20 years since I created the Locations and Dates page for the web site, and I don't recall my source, so I've not been able to check the accuracy of the details that I've included for other years.

However, I've checked the British Journal of Photography for 1926, and can confirm that the 1926 Convention was indeed held in Edinburgh.

 Charles Kerfoot Dalton

"My wife, Susan, is a relative of Charles Kerfoot Dalton.  Charles is in the second  row back in this photo, immediately below the lady wearing the light coloured hat and coat. 

Charles originated from Bolton. Lancashire, But we believe he finished his days in Leeds."
