*  I normally restrict the scope of the EdinPhoto web site to Edinburgh items, but I've made an exception in this case because:

-  this photo particularly appeals to me.  It is part of a family collection of Post Office photos.

-  Penicuik is only about ten miles from the centre of Edinburgh - south of Edinburgh.
