Thank you to McIlwrick, who has been working on a Baird Drive nostalgia project, for allowing me to reproduce this photograph of a class at Roseburn school.

Maurice wrote:

School Class

"Here is a photo of a class a Roseburn School taken, I think, in 1934/5.  This was the local school for Baird Drive at that time, as I don't think Balgreen School was complete, and in any case the railway line became the boundary at one stage.

This picture includes a number of Baird Drive children.
