Hay Drive "Here is a photo of my wife's sister, Janet Rutherford at the back green of No.1, Hay Drive. The photo was taken around 1953. The church where Jinty and I were married in 1956, St Ninian's Episcopal Church at Niddrie, can be seen in the background. Note St Cuthberts Grocery van in background, before the shop was built. To the right in this picture, the bookie is hiding in the corner beside the fence. This chesspail fencing was erected just after World War 2."
