Thank you to John for also sending me a copy of a letter dated 1 March 1926 accepting an offer of £310 for the purchase by John Forsyth of 37 Arthur Street for the purchase of the house 21 West Catherine Place in 1926.

This house had been put on the market by joint proprietors, then living in Texas, USA and Victoria, Australia.

Aunt Winnie, again

Here is another photograph of his Aunt Winnie, sent to me by John Smith.  This one was taken near Waverley Steps at the East End of Princes Street, around 1948.
