Bonella Marr has recently come to light during a house clearance in

Using the evidence on the flyleaf

and of some of the entries, it appears that Mrs Marr was conscripted
to, or joined, the ATS and was posted as Private Marr to Hawkhill
Avenue where her duties could well have involved service pay.
