Steam-Powered Lorries

was raised in Balfour Street, Leith, then in Craigentinny, Edinburgh
in the 1930s to 1950s.
I wonder how many people remember steam-powered lorries. If
my memory serves me right, they were used by the Leith flour mills.
You could spot them by the hot ashes falling into the tray in front."
