PPA  -  Proposed Reorganisation

At the ESPP meeting on 5 March, members expressed their continued concern over the proposed reorganisation of the Professional Photographers' Association.

Such a reorganisation would reduce ESPP income from £30pa to £10pa.  A letter had already been sent to PPA pointing out that the ESPP committee found the propose scheme unacceptable, but no reply had been received.  The ESPP Secretary was instructed to write a further letter.

This produced a reply from the PPA stating that they were "not in a position to answer at present"

It was reported to the Meeting on 5 June that the Glasgow & West of Scotland Society of Professional Photographers had shown themselves to be in line with Edinburgh's photographers by unanimously disapproving of the proposed PPA reorganisation.

On 2 April it was reported that the PPA had replied to ESPP stating that they were not in a position to give any answer at present.
