1900 with 509 Members. It had made remarkable progress in its

During the 20th century

1899, EPS was debating whether or not to set up a group to make a
photographic record of some of the buildings of Edinburgh. A group
was established. In 1999, EPS was again considering whether or not
to set up such a group..
Just as happened in
1892, the purchase of its own premises in 1954 appears to have brought a
new lease of life to the society. These are the first dates I have
