John
Black held this position of EPS Exhibition Secretary from the mid
1950s until 1981.
He
received many packages from overseas, incorrectly addressed.
On one occasion the Post Office successfully delivered to him a
package addressed to: “Sir
Johann Black, Photographic Road, Scotland”.
It
is thanks to the Exhibition Secretaries and their supporters that EPS
has been able to maintain an unbroken run of exhibitions for the past
138 years.
More recently, the Exhibition Secretaries have been Sandy
Cleland for 12 years, followed by Douglas Hamilton. |
