Thank you to Colin Bingham, Bathgate, West Lothian, Scotland, for
allowing me to reproduce photographs taken around Edinburgh from
the early-1950s. Some of these are from 35mm negatives;
others were taken with Andrew's Voigtlander camera.
Colin tells me that Andrew
was a shipwright/carpenter with Menzies & Co and then worked
at Robbs of
Leith until he retired in the mid-1960s. |
