Reproduced by courtesy of Edinburgh Photographic Society, or in the case of photos reproduced on Exhibition Posters and in Exhibition Catalogues, the copyright is owned by the photographer named on the poster or in the catalogue.

Very few photographs now  remain in the EPS Collection.  See below.

EPS ARCHIVE OF PHOTOS

-  1860s - albums were created:  I have not located these.

-  1900s - Survey Section established: many photos from this initiative are now deposited in the Edinburgh Room of Edinburgh City Libraries.

-  1960s - A small collection of photos was built up featuring EPS Outings, including an Outing to Edinburgh Zoo, EPS Exhibitions, and EPS Speakers.  If you know who took these photographs please e-mail me.

PHOTOS DONATED TO NATIONAL GALLERIES OF SCOTLAND

Many of the photographs belonging to Edinburgh Photographic Society were donated to National Galleries of Scotland in 1987, and are now part of the Scottish National Photographic Collection.

Most of the EPS Minutes and many other society documents are now in the care of The Edinburgh Room, Edinburgh City Library.

Other documents, photos and ephemera remain in the care of EPS.
