This is one of the paintings by Frank Forsgard Manclark, a local artist, living in Edinburgh.
He
describes himself as 'The Leith Artist'. Until 2003, he was
based at his studio in Ferry Road, Leith. Frank is a
member of the Society of Limners (SLM).
He first
exhibited, representing Scottish Schools at the London South Bank Exhibition
in 1950, and has since shown in galleries and open air one man shows
throughout Europe.
Frank undertakes
commission work in miniature and standard sizes on all mediums, specialising
in paintings from photographs. His work includes portraits,
landscapes, seascapes and animals.
