High Street

Part of The Royal Mile

Edinburgh High Street is part of the Royal Mile which runs for about a mile, from Edinburgh Castle at the top of the hill to Holyrood Palace in Queen's Park at the bottom of the hill.

This photograph looks up the Royal Mile towards Edinburgh Castle.  The nearer church spire in this view is the Tron Kirk.  Behind is St Giles Cathedral.  There is also a religious message at the right hand side of the picture.
