William Kyles had studios in Portobello between 1863 and 1882. - Up to the mid-1860s, he was part of the 'Kyles & Law' partnership. - He traded under his own name between 1865 and 1877. - From 1877 onwards, he was part of the 'Kyles & Moir' partnership. - This partnership continued to trade until 1882, but by 1880, William Kyles had moved to Ayrshire in the west of Scotland and set himself up as a phtographer there. |
