This is 5 miles east of my home in St Fillans.  The petrol station is situated in Burrell Street, Comrie.

In the 1970s, I had a caravan at St Fillans and used to buy fuel here for my boat on Loch Earn.  The owners Tommy and Margaret Douglas became good friends when I moved up here, around 1981.

They ran the garage from 1975 until the July 4, 2008. I believe that  the new owner will continue to operate as a garage and M.O.T station which would be good for the community.

New roller doors have just been fitted.  Tonight, I visited Tommy and Margaret to tell them of your photos, and they were delighted
