The Wilson
Brothers
"Here is a photo taken at G R Mackay's
studio in Edinburgh, in the early 1900s.
The pho is of six of the seven Wilson
brothers. I only know two for sure:
- BOTTOM RIGHT FRONT:
Samuel Garvie Wilson, my g. g. grandfather. He was raised in
Clunie/ Auchtergaven, Blairgowrie area. He lived on Meadowbank
Terrace, Edinburgh, and was a train driver out of Waverly.
- BACK ROW MIDDLE:
David Wilson. He served in 2nd
Bat. Black Watch during 1898-1901 Boer War, as a Piper.
