The Postcard
This postcard was sold by H Adamson, Stationer, Piershill,
Edinburgh. It is the only card that I have seen bearing H
Adamson's name.
This card has was sent through the post from Edinburgh to
Campbletown, Argyleshire, on June 15, 1909.
The message on the card read:
"This is where we are all camping.
We are having a fine time of it. Fine weather here. We
hope you are not wearying. We are all wishing you were
here with us to enjoy the pillow fights at night. I might be down
on Saturday. - Neil." |
