Castle Series Postcards

All the postcards below, in the Castle Series, had backs similar to the one above.  The publisher is not named on any of the cards.

All had views of Edinburgh, taking up half of the front of the card and had quotations relating to Edinburgh.

The cards are all 5.5 ins x 3.5 ins, a size that was introduced in 1899, replacing the earlier 'court card' size of 4.75 ins x 3.5 ins.

The backs of the cards have undivided backs, so date from the period up to 1902, when only the address, but no message, could be written on the backs of postcards.

So these postcards are likely to  have been published between 1899 and 1902.
